We can never have too many friends!
The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose goal is to support, improve, and promote library services through fundraising, assisting with programs, and taking part in fun events as a team of volunteers. We...
Promote knowledge of the functions, services, and needs of the library to the community
Help in the development of programs for the extension and improvement of library services and resources
Aid in the provision of adequate housing and other facilities for the library
Attract bequests and gifts of money or other appropriate materials beyond the resources of the library budget
JOIN OUR MISSION
If you have a passion for our library and recognize the important role our library plays in our community, we invite you to join us!
A Friends membership offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community by sharing of your time and talents.
The library is in regular need of volunteers to assist with programs, promote advocacy, and to serve on committees. There are so many ways you can give of your time. Students can even volunteer to satisfy school community service requirements.
When visiting the library, stop by the Friends Corner. Help yourself to a cup of coffee for a $1 donation, and browse an ever-changing selection of gently-used books, audiobooks, and DVDs available for purchase.
